Walters Baby Dies Following Fall

Funeral services for Ruth Walters, year-and-a-half old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walters, were held Friday at the Stout Reformed church. Rev. W. J. Heyenga conducted the service.

Death was caused by a fall about a week before the child's death which dislocated two vertebrae in the baby's neck. Although the dislocated bones were put back in place and four or five doctors called in consultation, the child failed to rally.

Ruth Lorraine was born March 28, 1940, reaching the age of 1 years, 7 months, 22 days.

Surviving are the parents; three sisters, Gertrude, Jeanette and Johanna; two half-sisters, Annie and Jennie; the paternal grandfather, John Walters; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe J. Meester; and her great-grandmother, Mrs. Jacob Meester.
