Mrs. F. A. Sloan of Austinville died at her home in that city, Saturday evening, July 16th, at the age of 43 years and 2 months. Her maiden name was Frentje Hugo, she was born on May 8th, 1861 and later was united in marriage to Mr. Sloan, no children were born of this union. She is survived by her husband, her mother, one brother, John Hugo and a sister, Mrs. Christians, who resides here. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Kliebenstein church and the remains interred in the cemetery adjoining it. Mrs. Sloan was well and favorably known and leaves besides her sorrowing relatives, many friends who mourn her departure from this life.
