Mrs. F. B. Hook was taken sick on last Friday afternoon and her condition became rapidly worse, she suffering internally from a pain in the side. Dr. Heddens was called and made the patient comfortable. On Saturday noon she grew rapidly weaker, death taking place at one p.m. She was conscious until a few minutes before her death. The sudden news came as a great shock to the community. The husband and family have the sympathy of all in their sorrow. The remains will be laid at rest in the German reformed cemetery at Wellsburg on Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock.
