10 Year Old Girl Dies Suddenly

Clara Meyer, the 10 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cebe Meyer living four miles west of Wellsburg, died very suddenly Monday afternoon. She was taken sick Sunday afternoon. A doctor was called but he was unable to check the progress of the trouble. At three o'clock Monday morning the girl became unconscious and she remained in that condition until the end came in the afternoon. Uremic poisoning is believed to have been the cause of her death.

Clara, was the oldest of Mr. and Mrs. Meyer's children. She was a bright and lovable girl and her death following such a short period of sickness has been a great shock to the family and to their many friends.

The funeral services will be held at the Hoefker church west of town Thursday. Rev. Hoefker will have charge of the services.
