A three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ross residing four miles northwest of Wellsburg, died very suddenly Tuesday morning, from an ailment resembling summer complaint. The child was sick but three or four days and at no time was its condition considered serious, until a few hours previous to its death, when it grew rapidly worse and the summons came. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. L. Hoefker were held at the home at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon and interment was made in the Dutch Reform cemetery west of Wellsburg.--Wellsburg Herald
