Mrs. L. Eiten Died At Her Home Sunday

Mrs. L. Eiten died at her home near Steamboat Rock Sunday afternoon at 5:30 after a long illness.

Mrs. L. Eiten nee Etje Harms was born in Ogle county, Illinois, Jan. 8, 1866. She was married to Lubert Eiten Jan. 24, 1885. Her husband preceded her in death April 4, 1932. This marriage was blessed with four children, of whom one died in infancy. Surviving are Mrs. Dena Rindels, Mrs. Gertie Gersema and George Eiten; three grandchildren: Simon Rindels, Etta and Dena Gersema; one brother, Wessel Harms, and one sister, Miss Johanna Harms.

Funeral services were Wednesday at the Wellsburg I Chr. Ref. church in charge of the pastor, Rev. H. C. Bode, and assisted by the Rev. A. C. Kruse.

God comfort the bereaved with the sunshine of His grace. May we all number our days so that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom and when we leave this world that we may have gone to the eternal home, heaven.
