Mrs. N. O. Chase died very suddenly at their country home Monday morning about 7:45 o'clock at the age of 51 years and eight months. She had been sick a good part of the past year, but had been feeling better lately and was much better than usual last Saturday. She leaves beside her husband, two daughters, Laura, now Mrs. Harry Larson, and Miss Mildred, who is at home, and one brother, Edward Bisdee of Fairfield township. The funeral services were held at the home Wednesday at one o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. H. Hayward, pastor of the M.E. church at Dike. Interment was made in the family lot in Fairfield cemetery.
