Former Conrad Resident, Grace Johnson, Dead

Grace Lucille Johnson, 69, a former Grundy Center-Conrad resident, died Saturday, December 15 at the Windsor Care Center in Cedar Falls.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 18 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Burial took place in Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.

Mrs. Johnson was born March 26, 1910 at Conrad, the daughter of John and Besse Middleton Binder. She married Alfred J. Johnson December 31, 1930 at Nashua. He died in 1958.

Survivors include three daughters, Janice Davy and Barb Eick, both of Independence, and Betty Woosley of Solon; one brother, Franklin Binder of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
