Sid Price Dies In Baltimore, Md.

Sidney Frederick Price, 70, a former area resident, died Monday morning at Church-Home Hospital, Baltimore, Md.

He was born October 28, 1901, at Gladbrook, the son of Sidney F. and Laura Hundley Price. He lived at Conrad during his youth.

Following his graduation from a Des Moines high school, he attended Drake University, and then worked for some time in Des Moines.

In 1926 he went to Boston, Mass., before spending several years in Florida and Washington, D.C. He moved to Baltimore in 1946.

He is survived by one brother and one sister, William H. Price of Grundy Center, and Mrs. Paul (Vola) Clugston of White Plains, N.Y. Preceding him in death were his parents.

At his request his body will be cremated and the remains will be interred in the Grundy Center cemetery. Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home is in change of arrangements.
