Services for Mrs. Ruie Dickinson, former Grundy County Recorder, were held in the Ferree funeral home last Friday forenoon at 10 o'clock. The service was conducted by Rev. E. E. Basye. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery. She was 74 years old. She died in her apartment in Des Moines, January 1st. Death came very suddenly while she was alone.

She was born in Grundy Center, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Goodell. She resided in Grundy Center until 1946 when she moved to Des Moines where she since made her home.

Attending the service from a distance were her two sons and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. William Dickinson, Barrington, Ill., and Robert Dickinson, Des Moines.
