Funeral services were held at 1:15 Monday in the Aswegan home and at 2 o'clock in Bethany Presbyterian church in Grundy Center. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. F. J. Langenberg.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters. The sons are Herman, Riverside, California; Hans, Tripoli, Iowa; and Joe, Dallas Center, California.
