Death of W. F. Bacon

Word has been received by friends here that Will Bacon, husband of Nealie Bourne, formerly of this place and now a resident of Glendale, Cal., had passed away very suddenly at his home Wednesday morning. His funeral was held Friday. His body was cremated and Mrs. Bacon plans to send the ashes to Grundy Center later on for burial in the Bourne lot in the Grundy Center cemetery.

He was a resident of Grundy Center 40 years ago, when he was employed as meat cutter for James Wilson. He was married to Nealie Bourne 13 years ago, moving soon afterward to Boise, Idaho, and from there to California.
