Inmate of Co. Farm Dies

Ubbe Bruns, for thirty-eight years a county charge, passed away at the Grundy county home Sunday at the ripe old age of 82 or 83 years.

Mr. Bruns was the second man to enter the home and he has been a continuous resident there with the exception of a short time during Steward Walker's administration when he was sent to the state institution at Independence for a short time.

Bruns was never married and the only relative he is known to have had was a brother who lived south of Wellsburg for a time, but he passed away some years ago.

Funeral services were held at the L. D. Coffman home Monday forenoon and the burial was in the potter's field in the local cemetery.
