Double Funeral Service At Dike Sunday Afternoon
There was a double funeral service held in the Methodist church at Dike Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Asa C. Reisinger and Mrs. Horace Grimm, both of whom died Thursday morning. The services were conducted by the resident pastor, Rev. Wm. Galbreth. Mrs. Reisinger was buried at Grundy Center and Mrs. Grimm at Dike.
Mrs. Reisinger and Mrs. Grimm were cousins.

Mrs. Grimm was born on a farm near Dike. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Vought. The family moved to Dike the first year the town was incorporated. Mrs. Grimm was 49 years old. She was married to Horace Grimm of Hudson in 1912. They resided in Dike until a few years ago when they moved to Lamont, Iowa, where she died quite suddenly on Thursday following a heart attack.Surviving are her husband and a son, Marvin, stationed at Camp Robinson, Ark.; her mother, Mrs. C. D. Vought of Dike, and two sisters, Mrs. Karl Martin, Redfield, Iowa, and Mrs. Frank Newville, Mason City.
