Marie T. Kopsa, 94, of Conrad, died April 6 at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad. Funeral services were April 11 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Grundy Center. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established.

Marie was born January 24, 1911, the daughter of Anton and Marie (Cernock) Tabier. She graduated from High School Normal Training Course at Lohrville High School in 1929. She taught school in Greene County for two years. On February 21, 1933, she was united in marriage to Karl Kopsa. She and her husband farmed until retiring in 1970.

Survivors include two sons, Francis (Joan) Kopsa and Leo (Helen) Kopsa; a daughter, Barbara (A.J.) Ream; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother; and a sister.
