Mrs. Phoebe Jones Dies

Mrs. Phoebe Jones, 60, died on Oct. 18th, at the Colonial hospital in Rochester, Minn., following an extended illness. She had been in the Rochester hospital about three weeks prior to her death.

Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William L. Beeman, and was born Oct. 18th, 1889, on a farm near Conrad, where she grew to womanhood. She was married to Lester Jones of Conrad who preceded her in death 9 years ago. To this union was born one daughter, Mrs. Eva Fraker of Conrad who survives her mother. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Janice Fraker, also of Conrad. One sister, Mrs. Elmer Jones and three brothers, Wesley, Ira and George Beeman, all of Conrad, preceded her in death. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones was held at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad, with Rev. W. G. Warren in charge.
