Mrs. Elizabeth Sweerin Dies at Reinbeck

Mrs. Elizabeth Sweerin died at her home in Reinbeck Sunday. She was 63 years old on the 5th of last March.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Reinbeck Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery.

Mrs. Sweerin's maiden name was Elizabeth Manlock. She came to Reinbeck with her parents from Scott county, Iowa, when she was four years old and made her home there continually thereafter. She was married to Henry Sweerin on February 23, 1903.

Surviving are the husband; 3 sons, Ed, Tama; Thomas, Lincoln; Martin, Waterloo; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Ogden and Mrs. Kenneth Dooley, Waterloo; Mrs. Clyde Poulter, Harvey, Ill.; Mrs. Elwood Fink, Reinbeck; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; preceding her were a son, Henry, in 1914; a daughter, Ida, in 1938; her mother, Ida, June 23, 1945, and her father in 1922.
