Final Rites For T. M. Hickman Last Tuesday

Funeral services for Theodore M. Hickman of Marshalltown, who passed away on Feb. 26, at the Deaconess hospital after an extended illness, were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Estel Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Burial was made beside his wife in the Benson cemetery. Mr. Hickman was born on Sept. 19, 1874, in Taylor county, the son of the late Eli and Maria Hickman. When a small child the family moved to a farm in Felix township. In 1899 he was married at Eldora to Delphia Asher. They moved to Marshalltown in 1918. Mrs. Hickman preceded him in death in 1934.

Survivors included two sons and three daughters, Roy R. of Lamoille, and Glen H. Hickman of Lynwood, Calif.; Letia Roseburrough of Aurora, Ind.; Mrs. Nina Weaven of Beaman and Mrs. Vera Jagau of Marshalltown and two brothers, I. L. Hickman of Mt. Etna, and Glen Hickman of Marshalltown; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A brother, Sherm Hickman, died in Minnesota, where he had lived for a number of years, in November of last year.
