Robert Albright Services Held

Robert H. Albright, 75, of Marshalltown, formerly of Grundy Center, died Sunday, June 6, at Veterans Administrative Hospital in Des Moines.

Graveside services were Wednesday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.

There was no visitation. A memorial fund has been established.

Robert was born March 13, 1918, in Grundy Center the son of Clarence and Lillie Purvis Albright. He graduated from Grundy Center High School in 1936. He was employed as a masonry.

He served in the Army and WWII. Following the army he lived in various Veterans Homes. His last residence was the Veterans Home in Marshalltown.

Survivors include 1 brother, Amos Albright of Grundy Center and 1 sister, Isabel Cummings of Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Russell Albright and 1 sister, Lois Swift.

The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center was in charge of the arrangements.
