Mrs. Tom Mitchell Dies At Age 92

Mrs. Tom Mitchell died in a nursing home at Traer the past week where she had been a patient for 6 months. She was 92 years old. Funeral services were in the Catholic church at Traer last Thursday morning. The body was brought to Grundy Center where burial was beside her husband in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Mitchell was born and grew up in Ackley. She and Tom Mitchell was married in Ackley, Oct. 15, 1890. Mr. Mitchell died at Traer in 1932 at the age of 66.

Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell moved to Traer the year after they were married, where he was employed on the Rock Island section and later worked at the carpenter trade. The couple had no children.
