Lydia Maria Domagalski Connell Beyer, 87, of Parkersburg, passed away November 23 at the Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterloo.

Funeral services were November 27 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Parkersburg. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.

Lydia was born on January 14, 1914 in Michigan, the daughter of Karol and Jennie (Hubner) Domagalski. She received her education near her home and continued to a Nursing School for two years. She lived in the Detroit area and worked at a hospital during World War II and later for Park Davis until 1956 when she moved to Iowa.

On August 24, 1957, she was united in marriage with J. Francis (Bud) Connell. They farmed near Conrad until they retired in 1978. Bud passed away in 1980. On March 3, 1984, she married Emmons Beyer.

Lydia was preceded in death by her husbands; two brothers; and two sisters.

Lydia is survived by three step-daughters; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
