Grace Broderick Died In Washington

Mrs. Grace Broderick, who moved from Grundy Center to Washington, D.C. a year ago to live with her daughter Jean, died Monday evening, September 22, at the home of her daughter. She had been afflicted with a heart condition in recent years. Mrs. Broderick willed her body to the University hospital in Iowa City.

Grace Broderick was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur. She is survived by the daughter Jean of 2426 19th St. N.W., Apt. 103, Washington D.C 20009; two sons, Carroll of Resten, Virginia and Byron, who teaches school in New York City, also six grandchildren.

Mrs. Broderick was a member of the Sacred Heart catholic church and the American Legion Auxiliary while living in Grundy Center.
