HAATS, JUNGLING, MEYER

Theodore A. Haats passed away at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, October 24, 1976 at St. Mary's hospital, Rochester, Minn., of complications of a severe heart attack.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Aplington with Rev. Charles Orr and Rev. Norman Ratering officiating.

Music was provided by the Gospeliers.

Casketbearers were Darwin Winkowitsch, Gaylen Miller, Meryle Muller, Dale Bangasser, Les Rieken and Larry Jungling.

Interment was at the West Friesland cemetery. Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home in Ackley was in charge.

Ted was born the son of Albert and Jennie Jungling Haats on November 4, 1934 in Butler County near Aplington. He married Wilma Meyer on July 15, 1959 at the Little Brown Church. They made their home in Aplington.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma, and four children: Linda (Mrs. Dahl McLean), Sacramento, Calif., Janet, Ackley, and Allen and Tim at home. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Haats, three sisters, Christina (Mrs. Laurence Winkowitsch) Of Allison; Hannah (Mrs. Merle Miller) of Parkersburg; Judy (Mrs. Floyd Junker) of Waverly. His maternal parents, Mr. and Mrs. Waldien Meyer of Faulkner, Iowa and a number of nieces and nephews.
