STUCK, MORRISON

Mrs. Nancy Stuck died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Cliff in this city yesterday morning. She was taken sick about two weeks ago with lumbago. Later she suffered from heart trouble. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Black will be held Friday afternoon at the Methodist church.

Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Morrison Stuck was born in Fayette County, Pa., Jan. 7th, 1834, and was married to Mr. H. N. Stuck, on March 8th, 1852, in Summerfield, Pa. They lived in Pa. til 1863, when they moved to Wayne county, Indiana, remaining here for seven years, with one year in Illinois; coming to Grundy Center in the spring of 1871. Their home has been in Grundy Center ever since.

Mrs. Stuck was converted in early life and united with the Disciples of Christ, and on coming to Grundy Center united with the Methodist church of this place on April 24th, 1898, under the pastorate of Rev. S. McKing.

To Mr. and Mrs. Stuck were born eight children, one of whom died in infancy and another after she grew up. The six living are A. B. Stuck of Morrison, Ia., Mrs. E. M. Harkins of Grundy Center, Mrs. John McBirney of Galt, Ia., Mrs. John Cliff of Grundy Center, W. E. Stuck of Galt and L. E. Stuck of Grundy Center.

There are also living four brothers and one sister; A. S. Morrison in Pa., Jeff Morrison of Grundy Center, Ross and L. J. Morrison and G. W. Whitney, of Rock Rapids, Ia.

Mrs. Stuck was a woman greatly respected and beloved by those who knew her. She died on Wednesday April 21st, at noon.
