Louis Kettwig, 62, died about 2:15 a.m. Thursday at his home, Rt. 4, of a heart attack.

He was born on Jan. 24, 1906, at Lennox, S.D., the son of John and Kate Kettwig. He married Isabel Herbison at Lincoln Center, Iowa, on April 4, 1925.

Surviving are his widow, four daughters: Mrs. Clifton Bear of Wichita Falls, Texas; Mrs. Marvin Moyer of 2407 Shaulis Road; Mrs. Verle Moyer of 209 W. 4th St., Cedar Falls; Mrs. Robert Wical of Rt. 3, Cedar Falls; two brothers, John of Longview, Wash.; Lester of Castle Rock, Wash., and 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister and one daughter.

Funeral services are pending at the Dahl Funeral Home, Cedar Falls.
