Services Saturday For Otto Schwenn

Services were held in the funeral home in Marshalltown, Saturday, for Otto Schwenn, who died last Thursday in the Evangelical hospital in Marshalltown after a long illness. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.

He was a building contractor. He and Opal Canfield of Grundy Center were married June 15th, 1924, at Ponca City, Oklahoma. The couple resided in Marshalltown during all of their married life. Mr. Schwenn retired from active work in 1958. He was born in Crawford County, Iowa, October 27th, 1893. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Schwenn. The couple had no children. The widow, Opal, is the only immediate survivor.
