Mrs. Elsie Brehmer, 85, Of Whitten Is Dead

Mrs. Elsie Brehmer, 85, Whitten, died Thursday in the Eldora Memorial Hospital.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Whitten Christian Church with burial in the Benson Cemetery. The Rev. Lehman Messley officiated.

Bearers were Ralph Gunderson, Howard Long, George Clapsaddle, James Moore, John Cakerice and Raymond Newell.

Mrs. Brehmer was born Nov. 6, 1881 at Garrison, a daughter of Thomas and Fannie Wolfe.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Calloway of Whitten and Mrs. Irvin Cakerice of Eldora, one son, Edwin, of Liscomb, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and one son.
