Calvin Simon Wheelock, 92, of Oak Estates and rural Conrad, died June 7 at Oakview Nursing Home. Funeral services were June 10 at the Conrad United Methodist Church. Burial followed at the Conrad Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in his name and may be sent in his name to Florence Wheelock.

He was born November 6, 1911, the son of Joel and Estella (Daggett) Wheelock. Early school years were at the Conrad-Hwy 14 country school. Following graduation from Conrad High School in 1931, Calvin farmed. He married Florence L. Sutherland on December 22, 1936.

Survivors include his wife; three children; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister; and infant twins.
