Erna I. Boege, 85, of Reinbeck, died May 6 at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center. Funeral services were May 8 at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Reinbeck. Burial followed in the Reinbeck Cemetery.

Erna Ingerslev Miller was born on April 25, 1919, the daughter of Andrew and Ida (Ingerslev) Miller. Erna grew up attending schools in Audubon County. On November 29, 1944, Erna married Ralph Boege in Reinbeck. She worked many years for Dr. Winder in the communities of Harlan and Waterloo.

Erna is survived by her three sons; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister.
