Hie Lindaman, 74, Dies On Saturday

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. this Wednesday for Hie Lindaman at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ northwest of Wellsburg.

Rev. John Schortinghuis officiated at the services. Mrs. Allen Spieker was organist and she also accompanied the soloist, Carl Boelman, who sang two selections. Pall bearers were members of the American Legion.

Mr. Lindaman, 74, passed away Saturday evening at his home following a lingering illness.

He was born on November 14, 1892, the son of Jacob and Kea Lindaman in Colfax township, Grundy County, Iowa. When he was ten years of age he and his family moved to German township. Here Mr. Lindaman spent the rest of his life. He was also a veteran of World War I.

Survivors are the widow Hilda, one son, Jake, and his wife Ann, also two grandchildren, Eileen and Virgil. Two brothers, John J. Lindaman and Jake J. Lindaman of Ackley, and three sisters, Mrs. Martha Akkerman of Wellsburg, and Mrs. Lena VanLoh and Mrs. Nannie Klingenborg of Aplington also survive.

Those who preceded him in death were three brothers, Ben, Henry and William and two sisters, Mrs. Menno Buskohl and Mrs. Louis VanLoh, also his parents.

Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
