Ackley--Funeral services for Thade J. Boyenga, 66, who died Sunday at the convalescent home in Sheffield, Ia., following a stroke of apoplexy three weeks ago, were Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in East Friesland Presbyterian church, six miles southeast of here; burial was in the church cemetery; Mr. Boyenga, born Jan. 16, 1882, in Germany, came to America when 12 years old; married Susie Gerdes Sept. 11, 1918, south of Ackley; surviving wife; one daughter, Gertie, three brothers and one sister.

T. J. Boyenga Dies Sunday at Sheffield

Thade J. Boyenga, 66, a former resident of German township, died at the convalescent home at Sheffield, Iowa, Sunday, following a stroke which he suffered three weeks before.

Funeral services were held at the East Friesland Presbyterian church in German township on Tuesday. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mr. Boyenga and Susie Geerdes were married Sept. 11, 1918, and they lived for some time thereafter on a farm in German township. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Gertie, three brothers and one sister.
