Funeral Services for Mrs. J. Schroeder Held Monday P.M.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jurgen Schroeder, who died at her home last Friday after a long illness, were held Monday afternoon, at the home and later at the East Friesland Presbyterian church. The Rev. C. F. Siemsen was the officiating pastor. Burial was in the East Friesland cemetery.

Mrs. Schroeder, whose maiden name was Grietje Kroon, was born August 21, 1869, Ost Friesland, Germany. She married Jurgen Schroeder in 1890 and they came to the United States in 1913. She has lived in and around Ackley since that time.

Surviving Mrs. Schroeder are two sons, Herman, of Raymond, Minn., Jurgen, Jr., with whom she made her home; seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two children.
