Mrs. Hannes Willems Buried Here Friday

Graveside services were held Friday at the East Friesland cemetery, for Mrs. Hannes Willems, who died Tuesday, February 16 in Montour, following a lingering illness. The Rev. Harold Wagner conducted these and the funeral service which preceded them at the Funeral Home in Conrad.

Florence Fay Willems, born January 30, 1896 in Milwaukee, Wis., worked as a young woman for the telephone company in Iowa Falls, where she met Mr. Willems. Following their marriage they lived on a farm southeast of Ackley. They retired and moved to Eldora where Mr. Willems died in 1952.

She is survived by a daughter, Audrey, who lived with her; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Arnold Larsen of Lincoln, Ia., and Mrs. Evan Anderson of near Iowa Falls; her aged father and four sisters and three brothers.

Montour Woman Dies Last Tuesday

Mrs. Florence Willems died last Tuesday, Feb. 16. She attained the age of 58 years and 11 days. Her home is in Montour, Ia. Services were held at the Conrad Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Wagner officiating. Russell Kruse sang "In The Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. Ted Narr was pianist.

Burial was at the East Friesland Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold Larson and Mrs. Evan Anderson took care of the flowers. Casket bearers were George Willems, Robert Willems, Darold Willems, Donald Purvis, Arnold Larson and Evan Anderson.
