Will Ackerman Died Last Thursday

Will Ackerman, who operated a grain elevator at Aplington several years, died last Thursday at his home near Earlham, Iowa. He was 82 years old. Services and burial were at the Westfriesland Presbyterian church, east of Ackley.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Virginia, in California; 2 sons, Oscar and Virgil, at home; five sisters: Mrs. Uko Wiarda and Mrs. Jake Wiarda, both of Ackley; Mrs. Fred Best and Mrs. Fred Prohaska, both of Aplington; Mrs. Harm Relher, Allison; four brothers, Charles, LaPorte City; Ben and John, both of Allison; Elmer, Iowa Falls.
