Jake S. Muller Dies Thursday

Jake S. Muller died at his home south of Ackley Thursday morning, April 8. The son of Heike and Hilka Muller, he was born in German township, Grundy county, May 19, 1893.

He married Marion Neymeyer October 5, 1916. He became a member of the West Friesland Presbyterian church on confession of faith September 2, 1917.

He leaves his wife and four children, Leola, Ben, Harvey and Lucile, and eleven grandchildren, all of Ackley; four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Fred Miller of Marshalltown, Mrs. Henry Coordes of Dumont, Mrs. Florence Hartema and Mrs. Ida Kies of Ackley, John and Earl of Ackley.

A son Merle and a sister Anna preceded him in death.

Services were held Saturday afternoon from the Dick Murra home at one o'clock and at the West Friesland church at 1:30, with the Rev. Peter H. Eekhoff conducting. Burial was in the church cemetery.
