Funeral Services for Well Known and Long-time Resident

Funeral services for Mrs. R. B. Rykena, 86, long-time resident of Aplington, who died following a lingering illness, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday last from the home and later from the Reformed church; burial in the cemetery of the Westfriesland Christian church, three miles southeast of Ackley, the Rev. Johnson, pastor, conducting the services. Surviving, a son, Riekus, east of Ackley, with whom she had made her home recently; three daughters preceded her in death.
