Mrs. Rindles was 76 years, 8 months and 8 days old at the time of her death. She was well known to all the people of the community and was a hard worker even until her very last days. She was always friendly and cheerful and her cheery greetings will be missed by those who often met her on her way to and from her home on the north side.

Mrs. Ebbe Rindles, nee Heikens, was born July 3d, in the year 1844, at Campen, Ostfriesland, Germany. She was wedded to Hildebrand Buss Rindles in 1870 at Loquard, Ostfriesland, and came to this country in 1883, and lived the rest of her life in and around Wellsburg.
For 46 years she was privileged to share life's joys and sorrows with her husband, until about five years ago he preceded her in death.
The Lord blessed their union with three children, Mrs. Kea Looff, Gossa and Hilko Rindles.
Last Wednesday, March 9th, while on her way home from town, she was suddenly overtaken by a stroke remaining unconscious for two days, until she was called to the Great Beyond on Friday, March 11th, at 1 o'clock a.m. at the home of her daughter.
