Rites Here Tuesday For John Beckman

John Beckman, 78, of Davenport, died about noon last Saturday following a lingering illness. Services were held Tuesday morning in Davenport, with burial in the Beckman Mausoleum, Rose Hill cemetery, Grundy Center, in the afternoon.

Mr. Beckman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Beckman, and grew up in Grundy Center. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Jack of Waterloo, Vernon of Wisconsin, Mrs. Martin (Lorraine) Shimp of Naperville, Ill., ? grandchildren, three brothers, Will and Fritz, Grundy Center, Herbert of Hampton and Mrs. Stanton (Ernstena) Tennant of Colfax.
