Helen M. Kibby, 92, of Conrad, IA passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Oakview Nursing Home, in Conrad. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church, in Conrad. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the Conrad Chapel of the Anderson Funeral Homes. Interment will be at the Conrad Cemetery.

Helen was born December 23, 1920 to George and Cecile (Erickson) Gutmann Sr., in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Leon High School in 1938. Helen was united in marriage to Ralph Kibby on December 15, 1940, in Denison, IA. He died October 31, 2005. She was employed with Kibby Dairy, Franzenburgs, Donnelly Marketing of Nevada, Kibby Service, and Kibby Hardware.

Helen will be missed by a son, George (Dawn) Kibby of Sioux City, IA, two daughters; Marilynn (Willie) Wood of Spanaway, WA, Susan (Al Eggena) Kibby of Conrad, IA, seven grandchildren; Kim (Bill) Ross, Robin Oaxaca, Kelly (Scott) Doe, Tony Wood, Karen (Ryan) Kidd, Robert (Tami) Kibby, Carie (Matthew) Arens, twenty one great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a sister, Geraldine Jones of Colorado Springs, CO, a brother, George (Carmen) Gutmann of Ames, IA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, a son, Ronald, a daughter, Karen, great granddaughter, Toni Wood, and a brother, Jack Gutmann.
