Maxine P. Wilson, 82, of Conrad, IA, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 20, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church in Conrad. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m., until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Homes Conrad Chapel. Interment will take place at Conrad Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Maxine's name.

Maxine Phyllis Wilson was born August 30, 1932, to Sam and Grace (Fleshner) Buss in New Hartford, IA. She graduated from New Hartford High School. Maxine was blessed with five children, Connie, Denise, Curt and Scott and Nancy. She was a homemaker. Maxine was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshalltown, where she had taught Sunday school and belonged to Circles and Mission groups, Town and County and Entre Nous clubs. She was affectionately known by her nieces and nephews as "Aunt Mickey."

Maxine is survived by her children, Connie (Bob) Yates of Conrad, Denise (Leon) Yantis of Marshalltown, Curt Wilson of Whitten and Scott (DeanNa) Wilson of Beaman, 7 grandchildren, Kari Carmer, Tyler Yantis, DJ Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Stacy Rosalez, Samantha Wilson and Caleb Wilson, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, she is further survived by one sister, Carol (LeRoy) Beving of Wellsburg, and two sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Nancy Kirkdorffer, one great grandchild, three brothers, two sisters, and one sister in infancy.
