Rites Held For Fannie Hook

Fannie Hook, 78, of Grundy Center passed away on Wednesday, June 26, at Allen Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held at Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center, on June 29.

Fannie was born the daughter of Everett and Fannie Johnson Miller on March 7, 1913.

On November 5, 1943, she married Rudolph Hook in Lancaster, MO, and they lived in Grundy County most of their married life.

She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Reformed Church of Holland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rudolph in 1984 and one infant son.

She is survived by one daughter, LaVon Hook of Grundy Center; one son, Ralph and his wife Mary; two grandsons, Curtis and David Hook of Grundy Center; one brother Bernard Kressley of Cedar Falls and one sister Janelle Bacon of Gavioto, CA.

The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home of Grundy Center was in charge of arrangements.
