Minnie Dirks Rites Thursday

Minnie Dirks, 94, passed away Monday, July 31, at the Waverly Municipal Hospital in Waverly of natural causes.

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 3, at the Bristow United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Burkett officiating.

Burial was in the Holland cemetery.

Minnie Dirks was born January 6, 1895, in Grundy county, the daughter of Harmanus Frerichs and Jennie Freese Frerichs.

On December 31, 1919, Minnie was united in marriage to John Dirks in Holland. They moved to Bristow in 1930.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, seven brothers and one sister.

The Vogel Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
