Enno Hartke Services Held

Enno Hartke, 76, passed away Friday, November 16, at his home in Waterloo.

Graveside funeral services were held Monday, November 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center. Pastor Paul C. Nelson officiated.

Enno Hartke, son of August and Grace Barkhoff Hartke, was born December 31, 1913, in Grundy county.

Enno was employed by Goodwill Stores, and retired in 1965.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, and four brothers.

Enno is survived by two brothers, Louis and wife Junis Hartke, and Martin Hartke, both of Grundy Center; and one sister, Trene Lowder, of New Bedford, IL.

A memorial fund has been established.

The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
