Services To Be Held For Edward Osborne Thursday

Edward Osborne, 71, of Costa Mesa, CA, was born June 16, 1918, at Silver Cliff, CO. He passed away January 5, 1990, at Chino Memorial Hospital, Chino, CA.

On June 26, 1948, he was united in marriage to Dora Mae Hughes in Los Angeles, CA.

Edward was a retired bus driver for Southern California Rapid Transit District.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacific.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dora, on June 28, 1983.

Edward is survived by a son, Kevin Osborne of Glendale, CA; a daughter, Erin Osborne of Long Beach, CA, and three sisters-in-law, Betty (Mrs. Richard) Lynch of Conrad, Sarah (Mrs. Milan) Thatcher of Liscomb and Irene Long of Whitten.

Following services in California, graveside services will be held Thursday, January 11, 1990, at 11 a.m. at the Alice Cemetery, R.R., Conrad with Rev. James Snare officiating.

Flag folding services will be conducted by the Conrad American Legion Post #681.
