Services Monday For Mrs. Wilbert Petersen

Funeral services were held at the Fredsville Lutheran Church last Monday afternoon, March 21, at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. Wilbert Petersen, 71. Services were conducted by Pastor Joseph Sibert. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Petersen passed away at 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the Allen Memorial hospital, Waterloo, where she had been a patient for a week.

The Petersens farmed on the Earl Roadman farm northwest of Dike for over 30 years. They retired and moved to Dike three years ago. Mrs. Petersen was a member of the Fredsville Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Bruhn, Rt. 2, Cedar Falls and Mrs. Bob Johnson, Hudson, five sons, Roger and Leslie, both of Dike, Howard, Washburn, DeWayne of Traer; and Charles of Hudson; one brother, Harvey Krumlinde of Floyd; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Petersen, California and Mrs. Rosetta Hansen of Cedar Falls, 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
