Funeral Services For Mrs. Conradi

Funeral services were held yesterday Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the Lincoln Center Christian Reformed Church, for Mrs. Wm. Conradi, 71. Mrs. Conradi passed away at Allen Memorial hospital in Waterloo at 6:30 a.m. Monday. She had been a patient at the hospital for 25 days. Rev. Martin Stegink officiated at the services. Burial was in the Lincoln township cemetery.

She was born Amy Diekman, daughter of Siebe and Meike Diekman, on Sept. 5, 1894, in Grundy County, Iowa, and lived in Holland as a small girl. She was married to William Conradi on Sept. 3, 1919 in Holland. The couple farmed in Lincoln township near the Lincoln Center church for 4 years, after which they farmed 16 years near Dike. They retired and moved to Dike in 1940.

Mrs. Conradi was a member of the Lincoln Center Christian Reformed Church and a former member of the Lincoln Center Ladies' Aid; also was affiliated with the World War I Veteran's Auxiliary, Barracks No. 1418.

Both her parents, one infant daughter, two brothers, two half-brothers and three half-sisters preceded her in death.

Survived by her husband, three daughters--Mrs. Clarence (Josephine) Bowers, Mrs. Charles (Rosella) Paige and Mrs. Herman (Gloria) Hemmen all of Dike, one sister, Mrs. Fred Getting of Grundy Center, one brother, Dick Diekman, Hampton, one half-sister, Mrs. Alice Harrenstein of Wellsburg, and seven grandchildren.
