H. Kitzman Dies Suddenly Mon. In Grundy Hospital
Henry Kitzman, widely known and successful farmer residing 4 miles north of Beaman in Clay township, died quite suddenly Monday evening. He was stricken with a heart attack at his home and brought to the Grundy hospital very soon thereafter. He died within a very short time after he reached the hospital. He was 76 years old.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at the Methodist church in Beaman. The body was taken from the hospital to the Johnston funeral home in Conrad.
Mr. Kitzman was born in Poweshiek county, Iowa. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Kitzman. He came to Grundy county with his parents as a youth and resided on the same farm all of his life. He was born January 3, 1889. He married Olga Rohwer in Marshalltown, Dec. 13, 1913.
Survivors include his widow, six children, Mrs. Ennis (Lorraine) Hertema, Miss Venita Kitzman, H. Charles Kitzman, all of Beaman; Mrs. Stanley (Maryjean) Clemens of Marshalltown, Mrs. Ray (Marjorie) Davis of Ottumwa, and John Kitzman of Colo; two brothers, Albert of Conrad and Charles of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Arnett Middleton of Grundy Center and Miss Julia Kitzman of Beaman.

Kitzman Funeral Service Friday
Funeral services for Henry C. Kitzman, age 77 years, were held Friday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. from the Beaman church with Rev. Robert Winter officiating. Organ selections were by Mrs. Martin Myers.
Casket bearers were Donald Henningsen, William Myers, Carl Borton, James Plambeck, Raymond Luethje and Vern Ladehoff.
Honorary bearers were Clare Myers, William Hartman, Robert Sharp, Theodore Henningsen, Harry Lynch and Charles Anderson.
Flower bearers were Miss Ruth Wallace and Miss Ruie Wallace.
Interment was in Oakland cemetery, Beaman.
