Mrs. G. A. Geerdes Rites Set Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. George A. Geerdes, 82, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Second Christian Reformed church preceded by a 1:15 p.m. prayer service at the Doyen Funeral Home. Burial will be in the First Christian Reformed Church cemetery. Rev. Bernard Visscher will be officiating clergyman.

The casket will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. and may be viewed there until the time of the services.

Mrs. Geerdes passed away early Tuesday morning at the Grundy Co. Memorial hospital from a heart condition. She had been taken there on April 2nd.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Glen L. Schmidt of Marshalltown and by two grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Grace Haack of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Dena Haack of Wellsburg. One brother, John A. Meyer of Grundy Center also survives.
