Former Reinbeck Man Dies In Florida

Martin Thomas, a former resident of Reinbeck, died last Sunday at Tampa, Florida. He was 83 years old. The body was sent to the French funeral home in Reinbeck. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery. He is survived by two brothers, Henrick who lives in Germany and William at Traer. A sister, Elsa Bern, Garner, also survives.

He came to the United States in 1913 and worked on farms in the Lincoln and Reinbeck communities. In 1927 he moved to Waterloo, N.Y., where he worked on a dairy farm. In 1953 he retired and moved to Florida.
