Mrs. McBirney, Early Grundy Resident, Is Dead

Mrs. McBirney, an early resident of Grundy Center, died at the home of her son Len Stuck on Tuesday from old age and other complications. She came to Grundy Center with her family upwards of 60 years ago and resided here until after she was married. Her husband died about three years ago. There are two surviving sons, one brother, Len Stuck, and a sister, Mrs. John Clift of Grundy Center.

Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon. The services will be in charge of Rev. J. B. Bird, pastor of the Grundy Methodist church.
